The 2011 SL Summer Pony Beauty Show --

As suggested at the April meeting, the SL Ponygirls Club will be hosting a beauty show. This isn't a pageant or competition. This will be a show open to everyone that wants to show off their best pony girl/boy looks. Anyone is welcome to attend and participate.

There are no real rules except to have fun. The format will be like a fashion show with everyone taking turns on a stage to present their look, which can include pony tack, presentation if you want to a little dance or something, as well as anything that is related to pony play.

I would like to ask that any routines and showings only take about 10 minutes at the most. That will allow for pace and time in giving more people an opportunity to strut their stuff.

I would like to have people sign up, /only/ so I can keep some kind of idea how many want to be involved and be in the show. That way, I can put some kind of rough order to things. So, if you're interested, just let me know via IM or notecard. 􀀀

We will do our best to accommodate everyone on the day of the event, of course, even if they don't get to sign up before hand. However, I will be trying to keep time constraints in mind, so just bear with me on that.

How do you do the showing and what you wear is up to you. Trainers can show off their ponies, owners, etc. Or you can simply also go up and show your own look/outfit off.

Just think of this as a general beauty show in how it will go. You can do it alone, with others, and so forth. Ponies do not need anyone with them to be involved, and that goes for everyone as well.

Possible dates for June Pony Fashion Show

So far, I am looking at possibly having this on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. (SLT). I will be checking if this is possible. If not, I'll try for the Saturday before this, or the following weekend. If anyone has any events going on those dates, please let me (Evangeline Eldritch) know. I don't want to conflict with any ongoing things.

June meeting update and upcoming pony beauty show:

Hello, folks, I am looking into places for our next SLPC meeting, which will be in June. I am busier this month with RL and finals (the grading end.. ;)) and that will also give me time to organize the pony beauty show, which will be for fun per the suggestion at the last SLPC meeting. Great meeting --

The meeting went very well, and I want to thank everyone for coming.

The next thing that was suggested for the SLPC event ... doing a pony beauty show. It would be a show that not be a competition but a chance for ponies to just show off their look from tack to the rest. It is a great chance for interaction from the trainers as well.

I will work on finding a place for this too, so stay tuned! I will hash out some dates and times as well.

First SLPC Meeting - 2011

An unexpected boons, thanks again, Salena. This meeting will be an open informal format to just meet and discuss things that are going on with the Pony Play in SL, and everyone is welcome to attend. I would like to keep this all open and welcoming to everyone as a forum to speak, so the meetings will be held as such. Thanks!

For now, I plan to have meetings one a month at least to get started. Now, if any other members wish to do meetings, that would be fine as well. I will mention this at the first meeting. On meeting locations, I would also like to rotate this as possible so we see all sorts of locations, and no one feels left out.

I know that the BDSM Forum had the pleasure of hosting a talk by the author of this book. I didn't make the talk myself, but I did go and unearth my copy of the book.

I just have to say that it is well worth the read, I think, for anyone interested in pony play. I know that she also has the care of the 'Equus Eroticus' magazine as I believe now as well.

We're still here --

The club was actually started through the efforts of those such as Zeria Sassoon, Mel Melville, Marissa Akula, and others. It has never lost sight, as I like to think, of being a representation all members, be they groups or individuals, male or female, etc., that enjoy pony play in the virtual world of SL.

The SLPC is definitely still and always that, and looks to promote those events, places, and the rest for enjoyment, fun, serious things, and well, a multitude of reasons.

I see the SLPC here to get everyone together for all of our mutual love and fun in pony play. That is always the baseline of what I see this group doing, and not really trying to tell anyone how to do things in any one or right way. We all have ideas, and they should be heard.
